For private operational, privacy, copyright, or accessibility matters, email [email protected]. Use a descriptive subject such as Downloader support, Privacy request, Accessibility feedback, or Copyright notice.
Never send a password, account session, API key, private video, identification document, or confidential recording link in an initial message. Describe the problem without the sensitive URL. If more information is genuinely needed, a safer exchange can be discussed.
Technical and open-source issues
For reproducible public bugs, feature proposals, or code contributions, use the GitHub issue tracker. Include:
- The status stage and exact non-sensitive error message.
- Browser name, version, operating system, and device type.
- Approximate recording duration and whether it is high resolution.
- Whether the public recording page loads in a private browser window.
- Steps that reproduce the problem without revealing the recording ID.
Check the troubleshooting guide and existing issues before opening a new report. Public issues are visible to everyone.
Security reports
Send suspected vulnerabilities privately by email with the subject Security report. Include the affected URL or component, the security impact, safe reproduction steps, and any suggested mitigation. Do not access another person's data, disrupt the service, publish a working exploit, or perform broad automated scanning.
API credentials are not required for the public project. If you discover a credential in the repository or deployed assets, report its file and location without copying the secret into a public issue.
Privacy and copyright requests
Privacy requests should identify your interaction with the service and the right you wish to exercise. Read the Privacy Policy for scope and limitations. Copyright notices and counter-notices should include the information listed in the DMCA and Copyright Policy.
This project normally cannot remove a recording hosted by Kommodo or another third party. A complaint about the underlying video should be directed to the recording owner and hosting platform.
Response expectations
Messages are reviewed as capacity permits. No guaranteed response time, support level, or resolution is offered. Clear, focused, non-sensitive reports are easier to investigate. Commercial support, legal representation, and emergency response are not provided through this address.
